The Jeep AX15 is a great transmission on its own, but the factory shifter leaves a lot of throw on the table. Novak's AX15 short throw shifter tower is a clean, serviceable way to tighten up the shift feel while staying fully compatible with stock service parts.
The Novak AX15 Short Throw Shifter Tower
This is an all-new, all-6061 aluminum shift tower body that raises the pivot point of the AX15 shifter approximately 1", resulting in about a 30% reduction in shift throw. The goal is simple: retain the durability and parts availability of the stock design, while delivering a sharper, more precise shift feel.

Installation & Compatibility
This short throw tower is designed as a direct replacement for the factory AX15 shifter tower. It is compatible with Jeep applications that originally used the AX15, including many YJ, TJ, and XJ models, as well as properly adapted swap applications using an AX15.
