so I’ve put together my 99 Cherokee V8 swap using the Novak AX15/GM adapter. Having a problem with trans fluid ( 75-90 gear oil) leaking out the swap kit’s bearing retainer all over the clutch. Trans fluid level was a few ounces over- full at first but after draining, same result. When I put it together (the first time) I didn’t feel the groove in the input shaft was significant but now I see there is a very shallow groove where the seal rides. Planning to put a Redi-sleeve on the shaft with a new seal. 2 Questions: anyone used a sleeve on the input shaft? I see the Novak seal is different from am OEM seal. Anyone else had problems with this seal- if so, how to resolve?
