Many years ago, my father acquired this CJ-3A. Guessing the L motor was blown, so he put a Pinto motor in it. This Jeep ran for many years until it came into my possession. I started rebuilding and restoring as it had sat for a long time. Have two questions. One, with the Pinto engine, what throttle cable do I use. I have one that I bought new, but it is too short and does not have the correct ends. Two, what clutch cable do I use, the one that came off and the new one I bought are very different in design. Originally, when it was first built, it was around 1980, so the Pinto parts were "new" and plenty. Thanks for listening.
