I have a CJ7 with an SBC350. I bought the Jeep as is and the PO installed the SBC by welding some make shift mounts. I have been fixing most of the things that I have been able to find since I ended up building the engine for performance. Now I'm installing a set of Headmand Headers that exit through the Fender. I had no issues with the passenger side header since it cleared the floor pan, but the driver side header is hitting the tub. I think that my engine is is to high causing this issue. My question is, does anyone know if the Novak Mounts will place the engine at a proper height to clear this header? They claim that the headers work with the trans dap swap mounts but I cant seem to find those, and the Novak ones look like they are quite adjustable.
