I did some digging, though I’m not the expert on this specific setup, so maybe someone else can chime in if I’m off here.
From what I can tell, the input stick-out on that FSJ T-18 will most likely be too long for your CJ application. So our T18-ISK short input shaft kit would convert it to the proper length.
Note: that kit only works with the wide-ratio Jeep T-18 (6.32:1 first gear). But as far as I could tell, most the full-size Jeep (FSJ) T-18s came with the wide-ratio gearing from the factory, so you should be good there if it’s the stock transmission.
With that T18-ISK, I'd think it would bolt right up to your CJ bellhousing.
