Engine and Transmission Cooling

I bought a 2004 LJ, Novac Conversion with GM 2009 Gen 4, 6.0L V8, with aluminum heads married to 6L80 Transmission. Looks like a Novac radiator with SPAL 18" electric fan.

Engine runs 200 deg at 1500 RPMs while rock crawling. When RPMs are 2000 or more on any incline temp rises dramatically, If I drop the RPM to 1500 or less and keep going up the incline temp will drop back to 200 degrees.

I believe this is an air flow issue and I am wondering if Novacs fan would pull more cfm and help with this issue?

Also, what's better for cooling a transmission, one in front of the radiator or one mounted under the vehicle in front of rear axle? Thanks

Do you have the Novak radiator or a different aftermarket option? Our recommendation for trans cooler is in front of radiator and not combined with coolant or oil cooler.
