Howdy folks!
See attached some photos of our 1975 F250 trucks transmission. We took it out as the shift stick was able to rotate and we had lots of metal flakes in the oil.
Turns out, the spline went flying.
See attached some pics of the transmission. I’d much appreciate if you could help me point out which parts we should be replacing and anything I might be missing.
Here what I would already get:
- Novak transmission rebuild kit
- Something to fix the gear stick?
- First and reverse gear?
What is confusing me a bit: the truck is 75 but has the top cover design with the reverse leaver built-in instead of the casing-mounted version? Means the trans is newer than the truck? What year version is it
