NP435 behind a 300-6

Not a Jeep build. I have a np435 behind a 300 straight 6 in a 1952 Ford F1. The truck came out of a barn and had the conversion many years ago. Has a GM 1” bore clutch master cylinder and a small slave cylinder on a home made bracket. Worked for a few shifts and then blew out the slave cylinder.

Will the Novak bracket and slave cylinder fix this?

aldixie Thank you for the question. The Novak HCRF-78 (or HCRF-34) kit will work only with the 1981-1991 Ford truck T18/T19 bellhousing that originally had a slave cylinder mated to it. As seen in this photo:

If your bellhousing is like this, then the 7/8 bore kit would be the closest we would offer. Keep in mind that the 1" master cylinder bore matched with 7/8 slave bore will offer a stiffer pedal feel. It would be better to match a master cylinder bore and slave cylinder bore (7/8 w/ 7/8 or 3/4 w/ 3/4) for the best pedal feel.
