GM TH700R4 / 4L60 4wd Style Output Shaft

This is a good used version of the TH700R4 output shaft as used in Chevy and GM trucks with married transfer cases. This is the style of shaft used for Novak #107 adapter kits (TH700R to Dana 18 & 20 transfer cases) and for Novak #137 adapter kits (TH700R to Dana 300 transfer case).

700R4 Versions

4wd versions of the Turbo 700R are all ready to bolt up to our adapter kit and transmission disassembly is unnecessary as the required style of OEM output shaft is already installed. This 4wd style output shaft protrudes ~3" from the rear face of the transmission main case.

2wd versions work equally well, but you will need to swap in this #8681812, 4wd style output shaft. This requires disassembly of the transmission, and we recommend the service of a transmission professional. This basic shaft installation is typically a 2-3 hour bench job and may include simple gasket and seal replacements. Some choose this as the time for a more thorough master rebuild and update of the HydraMatic.
